İnan Utku Türkmen, Founding Director at Center for Applied Data Science

İnan previously worked as an academician at Bilkent University, Atılım University, Gebze High Technology University and TED University. He was the founding head of the department of TED University Applied Data Science master's program between 2017-2019 and continues to teach in this program. He took part in many projects and capacity building programs in the fields of data governance strategy, advanced data analytics, data-driven decision making and artificial intelligence applications with private sector, public institutions and non-governmental organizations.

Taha Eren Sarnıç, Data Scientist at Center for Applied Data Science

Eren works as a data scientist in projects and capacity building programs in the fields of advanced data analytics, machine learning applications and data visualization at CADS @ TEDU. Eren, who graduated from Departmant of Statistis from Hacettepe university, continues his thesis on the Detection of Complicated Apendicitis Types with Machine Learning Methods at TEDU Applied Data Science Master's program.

Berivan Eliş, Founding Manager at İstasyon TEDU Center for Social Innovation

Berivan previously worked at the EU Delegation to Turkey, Bilkent University, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Community Volunteers Foundation (TOG) in the field of gender, youth, social development and human security. She volunteered in many projects in the field of data collection, classification, interpretation and information activism. She holds an MA degree in International Relations from Bilkent University and a BA degree in the same field from Ankara University. Since September 2016, she has been teaching courses on civic involvement and social innovation under the Global Citizenship Secondary Field Program at TED University.

Merve Kavas, Program Coordinator

Merve has been a member of İstasyon team since April 2016 and she has been involved in the development of incubation program, community building activities and ecosystem mapping processes. She was accepted to the Fellow program created by Entrepreneurship Foundation, where university students with entrepreneurial potential were selected, and graduated from the program in 2015. She graduated from Department of Economics at TED University and her minor programme was Management.

Ceyda Yazıcı, Assistant Professor

Ceyda received her undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degrees from the Statistics Department of Middle East Technical University in 2009, 2011 and 2017, respectively. During her graduate and doctoral studies, she worked as a research assistant in the same department and lectured as a part-time lecturer at the Middle East Technical University Cyprus Campus for one semester. Her areas of study include computational statistics, statistical data analysis and modeling, data science and its applications, time series and data mining. She has been working at TED University Mathematics Department since September 2018.
